This video was created for IMOW's MAMA: Motherhood Around the Globe exhibition. Momufa is an Afghan woman living in Kabul. At 38 years old, she has four children. Though some Afghan women may seem shy and reserved, they are incredibly strong and the cornerstone of every Afghan family. Momufa recently lost her own mother, which made the interview quite emotional for her, but she was determined to tell her story.
