Since 1978, LILI WHITE has been exploring collective memory, history, origins of energy, and the primacy of dream states, through her paintings, sculpture, and installations and over 100 moving image works begun in “automatic-techniques.” White is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art four-year studio study in painting; and holds a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania. As an activist, she founded ANOTHER eXperiment by WOMEN FILM FESTIVAL (aka AXW) for 10 years, receiving an LMCC Grant; http://axwonline.com maintains streaming shows.
