Sisterfire

Sisterfire was a women’s music festival that celebrated women and lesbian musicians, started by Amy Horowtiz in 1982. The festival was designed to be accessible to a wide-range of guests, including wheelchair ramps, sign-lanuage interpreters, and free childcare. The festival ended in the early 1990s due to internal conflict.
