Ann Kalmbach is an American artist and co-founder of the Women's Studio Workshop. She studied at the State University of New York at New Paltz and the Rochester Institute of Technology.  In 1974 she co-founded the Women's Studio Workshop (WSW) in Rosendale, New York along with fellow artists Barbara Leoff Burge, Tatana Kellner, and Anita Wetzel. She frequently collaborates with her life partner Tatana Kellner as Kakeart. In 2017 their collaborative book The Golden Rule, was a Special Merit Honoree at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts MCBA Prize. Her work is in the collection of the Bridwell Art Library at the University of Louisville, the MassArt Library,[8] the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, the University of Michigan Library, the Walker Art Center, and the Library of National Museum of Women in the Arts. Tatana Kellner

Tatana "Tana" Kellner is an American artist known for her artist's book works and as a founder of Women's Studio Workshop. Kellner is the daughter of Holocaust survivors. She was born in Czechoslovakia and immigrated to Toledo, Ohio with her family in 1969.  Kellner received a BA from the University of Toledo in 1972 and a MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1982. Anne Marie Kennedy

Ann Marie Kennedy is an artist and papermaker based in Raleigh, NC. In her installations and works on paper, she uses natural materials to create narratives about human connections and experiences. She is an Associate Professor of Studio Art at Wake Tech Community College and a former resident artist at Penland School of Craft (2001-4). She has also been an artist in residence at Headlands (CA), Morgan Conservatory (OH), and Women’s Studio Workshop (NY). She teaches workshops in hand papermaking and participates in many exhibits both locally and nationally. Ann Marie's installations, prints, and works of paper have been exhibited both nationally and regionally in venues including: the Cameron Art Museum (NC), Gregg Museum (NC), Asheville Art Museum (NC), Cantor Art Gallery (MA), Women’s Studio (NY), Light Art and Design (NC), Waterworks Visual Art Center (NC) and Horace Williams House (NC), and online on Flatfile. Donna Rae Kessinger

Multi-media Artist Donna Rae Kessinger's focus is on projects that foster collaboration between artists and local communities, creating a marriage of art and commerce through intervention, public art project, or gallery exhibition. Kessinger participated in REPOhistory’s, Entering Buttermilk Bottom sign project in 1996. Donna has recorded turn of the century feminist oral herstories including Mary Beth Edelson, Nancy Spero, Janet Henry, Carolee Schneemann and Kate Millett. In 1999 she produced an interview with Kate Millett for DykeTV which screened on MNN. She was part of the Project Involve for Documentary cohort, Independent Feature Project, IFP in 2003. Her video work has been screened at the Jersey City Museum, RedSaw Gallery (Newark NJ), Benjamin J. Dineen III and Dennis C. Hull Gallery, Gardenship Drive-in, Wavelength Pandemic Projects, and venues internationally as part of ARTFEM.TV. Kessinger’s video project Les Biens, is archived at the Rhizome Artbase at the New Museum, and her REPOhistory sign design is part of the NYU Fales Library and Special Collections Archive.

Allison Knowles

Alison Knowles is an American visual artist known for her installations, performances, soundworks, and publications. Knowles was a founding member of the Fluxus movement, an international network of artists who aspired to merge different artistic media and disciplines. Criteria that have come to distinguish her work as an artist are the arena of performance, the indeterminacy of her event scores resulting in the deauthorization of the work, and the element of tactile participation. She graduated from Pratt Institute in New York with an honors degree in fine art. In May 2015, she was awarded an honorary doctorate degree by Pratt. In the 1960s, she was an active participant in New York City's downtown art scene, collaborating with influential artists such as John Cage and Marcel Duchamp. During this time she began producing event scores, or performances that rework the everyday into art. Knowles's inclusion of visual, aural, and tactile elements sets her art apart from the work of other Fluxus artists.
